Ojai has become a very popular tourist destination so lodging can be hard to come by. We are proud to have two lodging sponsors:  CASA OJAI INN and OAKRIDGE INN.

CASA OJAI INN:

The Casa Ojai Inn is located at 1302 East Ojai Avenue, just 3 minutes by car from Libbey Bowl.  Casa Ojai Inn has newly renovated rooms and features upgraded amenities, including the Simmons “Ojai” bed. Situated near beautiful Los Padres National Forest, the hotel offers breathtaking views, quality amenities, luxurious accommodations and great customer service. They are offering a 15% discount to Ojai Herbal Symposium attendees. Just mention Ojai Herbal Symposium to the receptionist when booking on the phone.

OAKRIDGE INN:

The Oakridge Inn is located in Oakview, about 5 miles south of Ojai proper (toward Ventura). This is the ideal place to stay if you also want to spend time at the beach or in the city of Ventura during your visit. They are offering a 10% discount to Ojai Herbal Symposium attendees. Just tell the manager Scott or any staff that you are attending the Ojai Herbal Symposium.

OTHER LODGING OPTIONS:

You can find a full selection of accommodations at the OJAI HUB lodging page.

CAMPING:

There are several campgrounds near Ojai in the Los Padres National Forest.

The recommended choice is Wheeler Gorge Campground, located on the North Fork of Matilija Creek on the Maricopa Highway about 6 miles north of Ojai. To ensure a campsite, we recommend reserving online as soon as possible. Rates start at $25/night.

Pine Mountain Campground is a more remote camping experience, 35 miles up scenic Highway 33 at 7000 feet.

Another good option is Dennison Park, a Ventura County-operated campground located a few miles east of Ojai. It is the least expensive at $21/night.

The fourth option is Camp Comfort, another county-run campground located on San Antonio Creek on Creek Road between Ojai and Oakview. Camping runs $40/night.

PLEASE NOTE: No campfires or open flames are allowed at that time of year in the National Forest due to high fire danger.
